- Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.
At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Good combat gloves
After using the PIG Delta gloves, which are amazing, I decided to give the Alphas a try as well. Definitely a much tougher combat style glove. Still a good snug fit, but thicker in general. I was happy to find out that they still have far more dexterity than most combat gloves. These will certainly stay in my rotation. Any one that is still running Mechanix gloves needs to switch to PIG and don't look back. They are superior in every way and absolutely worth the price premium over the cheaper options.

Blew out my first ones... let’s see how these hold up... I think I might need an extra medium

Almost there
Hands down my favorite gloves. There's just one thing and it's that they wear down quickly. Using them hard for two weeks straight and they're practically done for. The dexterity and comfortability is unmatched. I just wish they'd make them more durable.

Best gloves on the market
First pair of PIG’s lasted two years of fairly heavy use training on the range and at work. The fit was true to sizing chart for me. Second pair just came, true to size and the touch screen capability appears to be improved on this newer version. Otherwise, same great glove.

Is there no size extra small like in the chart?

Great Gloves
I will start off with the one and only negative, and it's not even about the gloves themselves. The plastic holding them together was very weak and if that breaks you don't seem to be able to return them, so be careful when trying on at home. As far as the gloves themselves, they are awesome. Truly a step above. I like my mechanix gloves, but when you compare them head to head the PIGs win. The dexterity is such a nice thing to have, it makes weapons handling much easier because the gloves work with you instead of holding you back. The materials used are exceptional and the build quality is great.
