PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.

  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Fight Stoppers, Without The Fight

Posted by G. Smith on 30th Jul 2014

I have been told by other officers that when I pull my PIGS out of my back pocket at the scene of a escalating situation people have actually said ""Oh Oh" and left the immediate area. And the person in question starts rethinking their behavior. When handcuffing sweaty or otherwise nasty folks they provide a firm dry grip with enough dexterity to manipulate work the cuffs and cuff key with no problem. When asked by some why I am wearing the gloves I say that it so that anyone I am holding does not slip and and injure themselves on the floors. Others I tell I don't like having my knuckles cut by broken teeth, and they just smile. A great product, very comfortable and they appear to be getting better as they break in. Also, great prose on the back of the supplied stickers. "America...Check!"

    Awesome Tactical Gloves

Posted by Unknown on 30th Jul 2014

These gloves were exactly what I was hoping for. Great hand mobility and very low profile. You can reach into your pockets to pull things out while wearing these gloves. The strap is a lot smaller than my old gloves which is a plus. As advertised if in between sizes go with the larger size - this will ensure you're not limited on finger range of motion. I bought two pair and one for a friend. I will purchase again when mine wear out.

STOP. THIS IS THE GLOVE FOR YOU, AND RON SWANSON.

Posted by David Hume on 30th Jul 2014

Stop right there. I know you're doing it. Wondering. You're googling reddit photos and imgur, watching YouTube videos of people wearing the gloves, and wondering "But will they fit my hands? My hands are different." I thought so to. My neighbor Ned Flander's once asked me "Chris, you have small, delicate girly hands. Why don't you reach down in there and grab that?" And by god I did, with the PIG FDT-Alpha Touch glove. Holy shit balls America wrapped in bacon are these gloves awesome. Why? Because they fit. First and foremost. There isn't any excess in your pinky. The thumb doesn't fit oddly. You can't grab hot radiators with these gloves. You're stupid if you do so. Same thing with a hot AR barrel. You're going to have a bad day. But you can cycle that 1911 problem. Hell, you can even open and close your CRK Umnumzaan with these knives. And if you own an Umnumzaan, then you will automatically understand that these gloves are worth every. Red. Penny.

    P.I.G. FDT ALPHA

Excellent glove! I prefer a snug fitting lightweight glove for Patrol and ERT work and these fit the bill. The touch fingers allows me to use my phone without removing the gloves. Got them tonight and wore them on multiple calls and had no issues at all.

    Great Gloves

I've been through several pairs of gloves trying to find the best ones to use for my law enforcement job. These have been by far the best I've tried so far. I would recommend these to others.

    Excellent gloves!

Posted by Steven Barry on 30th Jul 2014

These are fantastic. I don't think I have ever worn gloves that fit so well and are this comfortable. I have always shot without gloves, but a trip to the range on a very hot day my rifle heated up so much I couldn't grip with my left hand. These shielded my hand from the heat (not totally, but enough to continue) without being uncomfortable in the heat. These aren't gloves to protect from the cold so don't buy them thinking they'll be effective for that. They can also be worn and you'll be able to get stuff out of jean pockets. They are like a second skin. The touchscreen capability is also a great feature. It takes a little getting used to (for the angle) but it works well. I highly recommend these. A few friends liked them so much they ordered their own.

    great gloves

Lots of thought put into these gloves. Reinforced in all the right places and feel better on the hand than Mechanix. Definitely measure your hands and go by what the sizing chart says. I normally wear an XL but sized for an XXL for these gloves by their chart - it was dead on - any smaller would have been too tight. Also great work on the description of each part of the glove on the labels. I can tell you guys love what your doing and in no small part because you make a good honest product that people will really enjoy.
