PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Two days of drills in the rain

Posted by Kirk Whatley on 2nd Jun 2014

Got these gloves for two days of carbine and pistol training. Rained both days. Gloves got wet and used hard. Gloves came out no worse for the wear. Didn't shrink, stitching remained true and my grip never faltered. Probably the closest thing to feeling like you're wearing nothing that you'll ever wear. Loading mags, changing mags, working safeties, pistol grip all flawless. Gloves held up with no issues. Would easily recommend!

    Best gloves I've ever owned

Posted by Joshua Eason on 2nd Jun 2014

Let me preface this review by saying that as a rule, I don't wear gloves. Having said that, I love these things. They are the closest thing that you can get to not wearing gloves while wearing gloves. They are a necessary evil, and that being the case, these are literally the only gloves I will wear from now on. Buy with confidence!

Excellent gloves for what they're designed for.

Posted by Kevin Bock on 2nd Jun 2014

The PIG FDT gloves are very light - like a second skin. They are great for shooting and even handling keys. They are not meant for building houses or rappelling out of helos. They are not meant to keep your hands warm when it's 10 below. The are perfect for trigger control. They are great for cuffing and uncuffing suspects. And now the Alpha Touch version lets you keep in touch on your smart phone without having to take them off. The large ones fit me perfectly. I can accomplish a lot more with these gloves on instead of having them in my pocket.

    Great glove

Posted by Frank on 2nd Jun 2014

Awesome gloves, I owned them for about 1 month now and I have flown with them on about 5 gunnery flights using 50cal and m134 (mini gun), also on a proficiency shoot (m4). The gloves are well fitted to my hand and don't feel loose at all. After a couple times wearing them, they seem to break into your hand which was a good thing. After my ground shoot today I noticed that there is a slit on the side of one of my gloves where the fingers are, it doesn't seem to be from manufacture defect, just movement of what I was doing. But I will say that after inspection of the cloth material I would have expected it to be more durable. Overall, these are the best gloves I've used so far. I am waiting for PIG to release a FR version for my next purchase.

    Awesome gloves!

Posted by Jessica on 2nd Jun 2014

I saw a video review on YouTube speaking highly about these gloves, so I thought I should try them. I took them to the range and was thoroughly impressed with how comfortable they were. They also had excellent ventilation, so my hands didn't get sweaty at all. They have great grip; I typically have problems loading the last few cartridges in magazines, but these gloves made it so much easier! I was a little sad they didn't have the alpha touch gloves in small, but I could actually still use my iphone with the regular ones! The Velcro isn't bothersome at all. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about these gloves!
