PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Excellent product

Posted by Lewis Shackleford on 2nd Jun 2014

Have never been big on gloves but gave these a try. Price point is not much more than a decent pair or mechanix or camel gloves which i see people use a lot but out perform every pair of gloves I've tried by a mile. Very comfortable and the dexterity is awesome. Highly recommend this product to anyone remotely interested in buying some shooting gloves or even as a pair of work gloves. Could even shuffle a deck of cards while wearing them!

Great but a little to much of a tight fit

Posted by Anthony Doan on 2nd Jun 2014

Love these gloves. They have held up very well but they are a tight fit. Not too much of a problem but it should br known. Also, i thought that these glove were a little bit slicker compared to other gloves, and my grip wasnt as good compared to the grip mechanix gave me. All in all, great gloves and they do the job. Ps: the grip isnt terrible, mags arent gonna slip outof your hands when youre using these gloves. I just felt that other gloves such as mechanix had a better, rubbery grip

    Worth the money

I have now worn the gloves for a week at work. The fit is great and the cut out on the wrist sets the gloves apart. I don't like taking my gloves on and off so I generally keep them on while I'm in my squad. We use Toughbooks and the touch screen and the keyboard are both easy to use with the gloves. I haven't gone to the range yet, but have done some dry firing with snap caps. The grip is positive, but the touch is very sensitive. For the past two years I have worn CamelBak vent gloves, but after the last week this pig is sticking with the PIG FDT gloves.

    Shoots Like No Gloves On

Posted by Unknown on 2nd Jun 2014

Have tried tactical gloves issued by the military. When qualifying on the M4 & M9 I would end up taking them off by the 2nd phase of firing. It always felt as if I had to work through the glove material to manipulate the weapon. I knew what I wanted but could not find a glove that didn't bunch up or fit too tight between the thumb and index finger. Found these by chance on a google search. I've always been hesitant to order boots or gloves online b/c I have to feel how they fit. I think how they feel is the main part of how they function. Liked that these had a sizing chart. Used them for the first time a few days ago for police quals w/ a Glock 22. Felt like I was not wearing gloves. Able to manipulate the weapon w/ no probs. Until now I would not wear the gloves I have on police patrol b/c I was not confident I could accurately manipulate my service weapon if the need arose. Now I will be ordering another pair VERY soon and using them everyday. 4 stars only b/c I've used them once.

    FDT PIG FULL

OK, I used that sizing chart and the tape measure, All pointed to a Small, Man... were they Small, I know I can return them because I did not touch the Tags but I think this is some room to re-visit the on-line sizing chart. I just don't don't have time to return them, Maybe they will stretch a little. Please consider in the next release a breakaway for trigger finger, Some of us have Over-Watch and MUST keep that finger in contact ready state. I do like them. Nice gear, Harden every up a little if You want a chance at The Sandbox. Best regards, Chase

    Good

Very comfortable, but after a two days of use (TCCC training) the the palm material goes off and a vent hole on the index finger is ripped. Please make it more sturdier

Form fitting yet not constricting. Good finger dexterity without lose of touch. Will review agin in a month to see how well that have held up.
