PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    PIG FDT ALPHA GLOVES

the gloves fit as described, I normally wear a M but got a S. I have not put gloves to the test other than they don't work with the I phone in an otter box.

    feature rich

These gloves are the best on the market. I was currently using a more expensive pair, but now that I switched I won't go back. My dexterity has improved and the ability to use your touch screen electronics is a nice touch. The sizing chart is accurate as well.

    PIG Alpha Touch Gloves

These glove are thin, light weight and there's no pinching around the fingers, as with some other gloves I own. They were well worth the wait!

Fingers fit and the magic finger works.

Posted by Unknown on 10th Nov 2013

2X version. Fingers of glove all fit. Being able to use touch screen is a big bonus for me. Did I mention the fingers fit? Older Alphas the ring and little finger were always too long but it was a minor detail as most gloves don't fit my paws anyway. Wrists seem a little smaller but I'm almost ashamed to mention it as, for me, it is a very minor observation. I will own several pairs of these. SKD listens and that alone is well worth the price charged.

    Best tactical glove

Posted by Chris Norville on 10th Nov 2013

The fit is great with outstanding dexterity. These are about the only gloves I can wear to protect my hands and yet still retain fine motor skills. Just received a pair of the touch gloves (my third pair of FDT gloves) for work. I got tired of removing my glove to answer a smart phone while working. I

    Alpha PIG for your pigs!

Very well designed glove. Fit and dexterity in these gloves is excellent. Touch function works as advertised but my guess is long term use will remove the threads that allow the touch screen use. I wish they made a cold weather version!

    PIG Alpha Touch

Posted by POTY on 10th Nov 2013

I have tried 5.11 and other brand tactical gloves. Always too big in the fingers, or too thick to allow real dexterity. These exceeded my expectations when I received them. Used them yesterday at training. I can re-load Glock and AR mags with them on, even answer my iPhone. They offer enough protection. We'll see how durable they will be. For sizing you need to believe the chart. They look small, but stretch comfortably to fit.

Great dexterity, smart design... and measure

Posted by Thom -------- on 10th Nov 2013

These fit me... well, like a glove... but it was a good thing that I measured, so don't skip that step. Dexterity is smooth, the gloves are comfortable and there are a few smart features that you'll discover the more you use them. I am not a "tactical glove geek," and now that I have the PDTs, I don't need to become one just to buy a pair of gloves. They're good to go.

    Snug as a glove

Posted by Brandon Schantz on 10th Nov 2013

Fit perfect other than the pinkie which seems to ride up a bit when in use. The alpha touch works great with my phone and the gloves give me perfect dexterity when actuating parts of my firearms.
