PIG (FDT) Alpha Glove

I used the fit guide and when the gloves arrive the fit was perfect. I normally do not wear gloves, these are very comfortable and do not impede Performence.

Full dexterity means full dexterity! PIG FTD-A gloves are GREAT. I bought size Large gloves. To provide context, I am 6'0" and I consider my hands to be "average" in finger length and tending towards piano-player rather than wrench-turner thickness. The Large gloves are definitely snug; my first thought upon donning them was "Sigh. I need to return these for XLs..." They are very short, barely covering the heel of my hand. The pinky fingers are about 1/2 centimeter too long for me but then all gloves fit me that way. The fit of these gloves pulls the hand slightly towards the closed position and takes some getting used to. The difference between these gloves and other excellent brands is noticeable. I am typing this review wearing them and I can do all but the most delicate armorer tasks with no problem. I practiced manipulating my carbine too- these are the gloves to wear if you haven't been training with gloves! Super gloves... the best I've ever owned.

These gloves make sense. No excessive material added for tacticool appearances. They are functional and durable. I can rummage through items and differentiate items without a glance because of the retained sensitivity. These are well made, and last much longer than the G.I. standard combat and flyer gloves. I have owned many gloves by various manufacturers and with my occupation I frequently burn through gloves. Speaking of burning, the suede material at he MCP joint of the thumb is very useful for wiping the sweat in the sun. Needless to mention as for pertaining to their particular fuction, but these gloves are not for severe cold weather, grabbing edge weapons or dragging casualties out of enflamed structures.

Excellent pants, I have not found any issue with these glove and the fit is right on. They are very comfortable.

The gloves are awesome. The only complaint I have is that the pinkie tends to ride up a bit on me and I have to adjust a lot by pulling down or interlocking my fingers to get the glove material back down around my pinkie finger. I ordered 2 pair, and would order again. Quality is great and the features are very nice. Higher quality than my 511 patrol gloves and feel very comfortable other than the pinkie riding up issue. They appear very durable and well put together. Also I used the sizing chart and ordered the pair that matched the measurements that I took, but when received they were to small so I had to order a size up. If you are on the cusp with your measurements go the size larger.

they run true to fit. I originally thought I should get a smaller size to make sure they are skin tight. I was between a small & medium. the medium fit better. These will be great for shooting

I have purchased several different styles of shooting gloves but they all left something to be desired because the index (trigger) finger was always too thick and had no feel. I could have cut off the finger tips but I didn't want their use to be so obvious or give non-shooters the wrong impression. I read the specs and reviews on the FDT-Alpha gloves and figured I would give them a shot. They are everything they are advertised to be. They give me a clear and accurate feel on the sear break and the trigger reset and the single layer palms give me good abrasion protection from my 1911's agressive grip texture without losing control or having the pistol shift in my hands under recoil. I will purchase another pair for my range bag and will replace them when they reach service life. When I think about it none of the gloves I have bought have lasted more than a year or two so I am inpressed by SKD's upfront statement that they should be replaced when they wear out. Great company.

These gloves fit great on my hands and there is no compromise in my dexterity. I can handle my weapon easily and they are comfortable to wear. My only complaint is the tag on the inside of the gloves and that they are not made in the U.S. Otherwise, they are a great buy. Thanks SKD!!

Amazingly fast shipping, the best I have experienced so far. Great fitting and feeling glove - definite thumbs up! Perfect for pistol shooting. Used them for the first time with my shotgun and noticed some wear developing on the thumb used for reloading. It would be better if this part was more durable.
