PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Gloves offer ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Good Glove

Posted by Eric Mong on 16th Sep 2013

The gloves fit perfectly. Any smaller or any bigger they would not fit right. So farthe gloves are good. The only complain so far is that they should look better in appearance but the fit is good and they dont seem to cramp my hands. Have not shot in them yet but will be qualifying of thursday so we will see. The shipping is always good and i look forward to future business! Thank you!

    XXL is really XL

The gloves run a size small. I could barely get my hands in...

    Excellent gloves

Very low profile, allows for great dexterity (picking up small objects, loading magazines, etc) may not have the long term durability of thicker gloves, but great for shooters that need protection for their hands and still have the ability to feel the 'click' of a safety or pull out an AR take-down pin.

    Best I Have Found

Posted by Unknown on 16th Sep 2013

Like many others, these are the gloves I have been looking for. I have had minor issues with the stitching popping loose on the velcro tab on a few pair but they still work and they aren't meant to last forever.

PIG FULL DEXTAC GLOVE, wanting a side of bacon

Posted by LostInTheSauce on 16th Sep 2013

They had a break in period of about a day of me wearing em around while driving pretending to be speed racer. I was recommended them by a good friend as a replacement for my oakley gloves. I can't punch walls anymore but they're a great fit and it feels like I'm not wearing anything. I don't notice any resistance when using my fingers to manipulate my weapon or operate my radio and I can feel everything as if I were gloveless. All in all so far amazing I just hope they hold up to the abuse of the field and deployment. Since I've had them for such a short amount of time and I can't review the longevity of the glove nor its ability to withstand the BS between ranges, area beautification and being in the sandbox I can't yet give them a perfect score but thus far I'm pleased and I recommend them!!

    PIG Full Dexterity Glove

Posted by Big Mike on 16th Sep 2013

I haven't had the chance to use mine because I ordered a size too small. What I could see upon examination is good sewing and features. It's obvious a lot of thought and research went into the design of this glove. I look forward to wearing my newly exchanged gloves.

Don't really know yet (so they get average)

Posted by Unknown on 16th Sep 2013

I ordered a set of these in XL using the sizing guidelines provided by SKD, but they were too small, so I returned them. I haven't been able to get a pair of the 2XL's so I can't address how well they work on the range. I like the construction, though. I also like that they are not made in the People's Republic of China. I'm real tired of seeing "Made in China" on stuff I'd like to buy.

Nice build but gloves run small

Posted by Kinman on 16th Sep 2013

I usually buy work/riding/shooting gloves in a medium for a good snug fit and in large for a roomier one. I got the PIGs in large just in case since I would not be trying them on before purchasing. The area between thumb and trigger finger is stitched very short. Meaning glove did not contact my hand in that area and caused grip issues. Really wanted these but had to return. Now they are sold out of all sizes, bummer.
