PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Top Shelf

Haven't had a chance to put these to the test but all indications are that they will function as expected. Very nice pair of gloves. My only suggestion would be longer Velcro tabs on the xxl size.

These are by far THE best shooting gloves I have ever used. Period. & I've tried at least a dozen different kinds!

    Excellent gloves

Posted by Unknown on 10th Sep 2013

Gloves fit snugly but with great flexibility. In gripping a weapon, the web at the thumb needs a bit more depth, but will probably break in with use. I can manipulate controls, ammunition, magazines and snaps and buckles easily. Can't work a touch screen, but I hear that variant is coming. Very impressed.

    PIG Gloves, Coyote

Posted by Patrick Connors on 10th Sep 2013

Just received the second pair ordered (to keep a pair as back up). Will be hitting the range this week to use them with several different firearms and I am really looking forward to the experience, because the next time I need to qualify for my armed security license will be this coming winter and though these aren't necessarily cold weather gear, here in Arizona they will fit the bill perfectly. Qualifying is done outside. The second pair came as quickly at the first and the gloves fit just as well. I've been demonstrating their feel with friends and filling them in on SKD. Hope it brings more business your way.

    Sizing chart

Posted by Mark Nottage on 10th Sep 2013

I think the sizing chart is slightly off. Measured my hands 3 times, got the smalls according to the chart and they're tight to the point that they're hard to get on and off.

    Great Buy

These gloves are amazing. I have never had a pair of gloves with so much flexability/dextarity. I am able to type and write with the gloves on like im not wearing any at all. My only complaint is that the thumbs are not wrapped over like the other fingers, my fingernails still catch.

wrong size was bought. I needed xxl and I got xl thinking they would work. They fell great just a little small. I'm excited to order the xxl once they are back in stock to actually go run them.

    Great Glove, poor Quality Control

Posted by Edwood on 8th Sep 2013

Glove is great, true to size, very comfortable in hot weather. BUT that's IF you can get one that's sewn properly. Out of several pairs, only one pair had fingers without majorly twisted seams from poor sewing. Some with a lot of excess material inside, that poke and rub. Some is easy to trim, others are so badly sewn, it's just not salvagable. Fortunately, SKD has a great return policy, and they pay for return shipping with defects like these.
