At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Quality way above price point
These gloves were touted as a 'consumable' so I was a bit nervous they were too thin or weakly made. Turns out they are about the perfect balance of dexterity and protection. Cool features like the 'nose wipe' micro suede area and the double jointed trigger finger. 2XL fits my big paws great, but it would be nice to have them fit a bit thinner in the hand and longer in the fingers like some pics I saw of a gen1 run of these. Short velcro closure is very nice for easy don and doff without hanging up. Tacked loop is neat too. Knuckle and strike area padding is good. Stitching quality and materials seem to be very well manufactured. Overall the best overall balance of dexterity, protection, features and price I've seen in a glove so far. Highly recommended.

Best Glove I've ever worn
For the first time I lucked out for having larger hands. These gloves sell like hot cakes but the 2XL usually stay in stock longer. Setting that aside, the fit is great and they are true to size. I get great dexterity and love the small features on these things. I especially love the cord pull. It makes putting the gloves on a quick action. I have yet to karate chop someone in the face, but I can see the side padding working well for hand impacts.
