PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Gloves offer ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Pig full dexterity gloves

Posted by James Bennett on 1st Apr 2013

Outstanding gloves, shot with them twice now, excellent dexterity and fit. I'm able to manipulate the weapon and controls with ease. The leather portion is very thin which allows easy trigger management but I haven't had them long enough to determine how rugged they are.

    Like a glove.....

Posted by R. Archer on 1st Apr 2013

Was in the market for some new shooting gloves and these fit the bill. The fit is perfect for my piano player hands and the fabric isn't irritating to my skin. The fabric also allows for precise weapon manipulation unlike most shooting gloves. If you're looking for a comfortable and easy to work with glove, this is it.

    Next best thing to nothing!

Great gloves. I'm a big fan of dexterity. You can't control what you cant feel, period! These gloves are pliable and sensitive, yet have all the right features of comfort and durability where it matters. They are a simple yet smart design. I bought them initially solely for shooting and they exceed my expectation there, but they have also doubled as my primary duty and mild cold weather glove. Awesome product that performs as promised.

    Nice glove

Posted by Peter Hanson on 1st Apr 2013

This is a quality glove for warm weather use. It's not great for cold weather, but in warm weather it breathes nicely. It's very thin, articulates well and is comfortable on the hand.

    Best Gloves I've Ever Had

Posted by David Simonetti on 1st Apr 2013

You probably don't need to see another review of these gloves, but I'm gonna write a quick one anyway. In ten years of policing, I've gone through allot of gloves (I lose them allot) and the FDT is quite simply the best tactical glove I've ever had the pleasure to wear. They're perfect for shooting, searching, escorting, and, skirmishing. The fit, in some ways, is better than latex - probably due to the strategic cuts in the finger joints. In truth, I hate wearing gloves, especially in the summer, but I don't mind wearing these at all. I don't know where the design gift at SKD comes from, but they seem to be putting out some of the best kit available. SKD has turned "store brand" into a positive.

    NO B.S. GLOVE!

Posted by D/S Miller on 1st Apr 2013

These gloves have served me well and get worn in some way shape or form every day at work. From conducting pat downs to shooting, this gloves makes both much more tactile and safe. Nothing is worse that patting someone down with thick gloves and not being able to feel the hypodermic needle or knife (blade up) in their pocket, only to reach in and find it the hard way. With the Alpha gloves, discerning different shapes is easy! The quality fit and finish should be commended as well. Just follow the sizing instructions to the "T" and you will have a great glove. Thanks SKD!

    Fantastic Gloves

Posted by Christian Campbell on 1st Apr 2013

I've been looking into getting a pair of gloves for when I go shooting. I heard about these through a youtube video and I decided to give them a go. They are fantastic, they fit perfectly or damn near perfectly with my hand, the full range of motion and the grip you get with them is superb, and they are very comfortable. If you're looking for a great pair of gloves to wear while shooting or just in general, look no further. These will get the job done 110%.

    Pig Gloves

Posted by Kona Shark on 1st Apr 2013

Pretty dang good gloves!! Checked them out due to them being used on the Military Arms channel (Tavor rifle review). I had to get XLx2 size for my hands , not just on account that hands are big, but also due to a surgery on finger. Can't have them constricted at all. They don't! Each glove has a loop at the underneath back so if they slip slightly forward than you would like you can just tug on loop for more snugness. Holes at fingertips for air circulation at fingertips. Smooth comfy absorbtive material to wipe sweat off your brow across top of the thumb. Reinforced all around Firearm points of contact. Trigger finger stitching. Multicam pattern would be nice, Other than that buy these gloves and dump whatever you are using now, these gloves are the bomb! Aloha!
