PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Gloves offer ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Awesome Gloves

Posted by Unknown on 15th Mar 2013

I'm in the US Navy and I love these gloves. i can do almost anything with them. I wear them in uniform and in my civilian clothing and they look great in both. The knuckles are very lightly padded, but offer a lot of protection. These can definitely be worn every day. The perforations allow the glove to breathe very well, so they're not really good for cold weather. Other than that, great all around glove.

Best lightweight glove I have so far. Knuckles have more padding than you would think from the picture.

    Amazing fit

The only way these gloves could fit any better is if they were custom made for me. I haven't gotten to use them much yet, but I'm very happy with the construction and how comfortable they are.

Bought a set for me and a coworker, best gloves so far. they get dirty and clean up really nice. might go a size bigger then normal, i washed my hands with gloves on and they fit a little better. great product though i will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

    Good product.

Excellent feeling gloves, fast shipping and excellent price. Size was right on for the hands, however the wrist strap/fit needs to be made larger, but they do work. If you have a larger hand, keep that in mind. Mine are a little tight around the wrist, but perfect for the hand. (sounds crazy I know)

Not only do these give me more confidence in my grip while shooting, they are also excellent for driving.

PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT-Alpha) Glove

Really like the fit. I have large hands and the large is skin tight the first time you put them on. Just the way you want them to be. Build quality seems excellent. The price is cettainly right, just remember, gloves don't last forever. Wear them out and buys some more.

PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT-Alpha) Glove Revi

Love the glove and as a USSF operator, hands down (no pun intended) the best glove I've ever worn for tactical shooting. I have a pair of Camelbak gloves that are similar in style and feel to the Mechanix gloves and the SKD FDT glove is noticeably smaller and thinner all the way around. When shooting with the Camelbak gloves, the trigger finger seems to jam up in the trigger well due to the unnecessary thickness of the glove. The feel is skin tight as advertised. I have a lot better feel of the trigger and when shooting without gloves, a pistol will feel better in the hands. I get that same feeling with the SKD gloves and a team mate of mine is purchasing a pair of the SKD FDT glove after trying mine during one of our pistol iterations. Plan on buying a second pair. And I have little hands, so every bit counts for me when it comes to pistol shooting since the size of my hands/fingers don't allow me to have full reach and extension to the trigger as I would like on my Glock.

    great gloves...

Tried another brand which were build for heavy use but had no dexterity. These appear well made and have GREAT dexterity for a shooting glove. Not sure on longevity since I've only had them for a week. Only changes I'd make is thicker leather on the palm and perhaps a little leather on the side of the thumb for selector lever manipulations.
