PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Almost Perfect

Great glove for what they are designed for. (Dexterity in hanling handguns with enough protection for running an M4 hard) Got these in an Xlarge and fit exactly like Oakley and Camel Back gloves. My problem is I need the size in the hand but still need the fingers about 1/8" shorter. Overall very good though. Will probably order another in Large thinking they will probably stretch out over time.

    great glove thus far

Posted by jeff on 22nd Feb 2013

i have been impressed so far with the PIG tactical glove. wore them the first time for a 6 hour stint at training pit practice. loaded about 600 rounds of various pistol and rifle ammo with good dexterity. it was in the high 30's and i needed no other protection against cold. (not insulated, but great wind break) no fraying, bunching, etc... great feel for controls, triggers, etc... would (and have) recommend to friends. thumbs up! jeff

Simply the best tactical gloves on the market. I got 5 of my buddies to get them and we'll agree they give us +10 in accuracy :)

    SKD=Good Gear

Bought these gloves after some co-workers gave them a shot and approved of them. Well thought out design, excellent functionality, no useless frills. Weapon manipulation is not hindered at all, rolled finger tips work as they should. I have a size large palm, size small/med hand length. Ordered small and the width has broken in fine with a week of occasional wear. Go ahead and buy these.

    great pair of gloves, however...

awesome pair of gloves. fit great and dexterity is amazing. I ordered an extra pair the same week because i love them so much... Unfortunately after only a month the stitching is starting to unravel at the pinky knuckle of one glove. ( the part the holds the knuckle padding) i've only used this glove for work (warehouse). its a shame but its still a great glove. i would order another to replace

    One of the best

Posted by Shane on 18th Feb 2013

These are some really solid gloves and my current running favorite. What's keeping them from being perfect? 1. No watch notch. 2. Can't operate touchscreens. 3. They run a tad small so I'm stuck in that awkward place between medium and large. 4. Wrist strap is short, I have small wrists and I'm running right to the edge. 5. QC is a bit lacking. A number of the fingers aren't sewn straight, I have to twist those fingers straight after putting them on. Despite these minor gripes, they are my go to glove. The internal stitching is comfortable unlike a lot of gloves (HWI Tactical) where the material and stitching runs up under your nails. They provide a great grip when shooting and breathe easily. Padding isn't excessive but does the job.
