PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Gloves

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Gloves offer ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Gloves are a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Great gloves

Fit as promised. Very comfortable. First time having these gloves, tried on someone else’s gloves who had these. Only reason not five stars, is they are not made in the US.

    Durability

Posted by Sherwin on 25th Jan 2019

Very comfortable if you get the right size. Good dexterity. On my second pair. One problem is that these dont last as long as mechanix gloves. These tear fast. I dont think it will last in a 6 month deployment. Not really worth the price if it doesnt last long in my opinion. Im going back to mechanix.

    Disappointed...

Posted by Michael Zandiotis on 10th Dec 2018

I reciently purchased a pair of the PIG Alpha’s when I learned my unit would be headed to NTC for a week of training. I had heard nothing but good things about these gloves and looked forward to trying them out. Initially I was super impressed with the fit and the tactile sensitivity these gloves provided. Unfortunately they could not hold up to the rigors of this week of training. By the end of my rotation the left glove developed a tear at the outer seam on the index finger almost 2” long. The right glove also developed a similar issue just not quite a pronounced, allowing the tip of my index finger to be exposed. I really wanted these gloves to work due to the great fit, dexterity, and good looks but the durability factor just wasn’t there. I would be open to hear any opinions for the guys at SKD if they think they have something that might better suite my needs. 82nd ABN DIV, 127th EN BN, B Co, Sappers

Very good product, M size fit my hands like second skin. Work with phone screen flawlessly, no glitches. Hope that this gloves have enough durability. Want to use them many years.

    Best Shooting/Work Gloves

Posted by Nick on 8th Sep 2018

I buy around one to two pairs every year depending on the amount of abuse I put them through, and I put them through a ton of abuse. Albeit that may seem like a small amount of time for most, but these gloves last longer and feel better than any other ÒtacticalÓ glove IÕve tried. CanÕt say enough good things about these gloves.

    Disappointed

Posted by Carla on 4th Sep 2018

I bought them last year for christmas for my hubs. I was thrilled about them in a lot of ways. They fit perfectly and the features were exciting for his profession. He barely uses them and the seams are coming apart in several places. They are otherwise in immaculate condition. Now that he is doing tactical training a few times a week he got them back out and they are coming apart. I had hoped for a little more durability than that. I still may give them another shot and buy him a new pair. I was disappointed when he got his old pair back out and used them instead.
