PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available Clarino™ material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Forschette Material - Inside forschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are Clarino™ for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Ok these glove kick but its like they took a golf glove boxing glove and a work glove put them in a blender and puff you have the best tactical glove ever made. They fit great you can feel every thing you are doing the only bad thing about theses glove is that they sold out to fast so I can't get any more till the summer.

    Excellent

These gloves are simply excellent. The fit and finish are perfect if you use the sizing chart provided. They are tough to get on, but once you do, there is no slack on the palms, fingertips, or base of the hands like you get with other types/brands. The only downside to these is that they are too popular with no availability. I guess SKD underestimated the demand for these. Also, I would recommend that SKD think about a cold-weather version with more insulation for the duck hunters among us.

    Paracord Loop Broke

Posted by R Allen on 14th Feb 2012

Just received these in today. I was looking forward to them because everything else I have received from SKD has been good, including my PIG plate carrier. I went to use the paracord loop when putting on the first glove and the loop broke. It appears to have very little stitching to hold the paracord loop on. Got to looking at the gloves a little closer and noticed the Made in China tag.

Used my pair for the first time yesterday. The gloves have a great feel to them- forget they're even there after a while.

    Finally!

Posted by MSC on 12th Feb 2012

I'm a cop and I have had a hell of a time finding a pair of gloves I feel comfortable using at work. I have searched and searched and gone through pair after pair trying to find gloves that I felt comfortable shooting, fighting, and doing pat downs with. These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They provide enough protection and I can still feel items during pat downs. I still prefer shooting my pistol (Glock 22) barehanded, but these aren't bad too shoot with at all. I can actually feel the damn trigger. Great job SKD!!

    PIG Gloves

Posted by Haddon Stein on 11th Feb 2012

As a member of my county SWAT team and lead firearms instructor for my agency, I burn through a lot of gloves. They tend to last a year or so and I've had the opportunity to try a bunch of different styles and brands. The PIG gloves started out with two positives, my past experiences with SKD products, and recommendations from ITS tactical and the Grey Group. Ordering and shipping were flawless, and the gloves arrived the morning of a day I was heading out to the range with a group of teammates. Fit of the gloves was excellent, I am kind of in between a medium and a large and the mediums gave a great snug fit. They are obviously well made and the dexterity available was as good or better than the Hatch and 5.11 gloves that were previously my favorites. Although only time will show the gloves durability, for now I am sold. And I will definitely be a repeat customer.
