PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

best glove - best customer service

    Posted by MR_YUK_ on 16th May 2017

my first set started to fall apart... similar to other reviews on this site the silver threads started to come undone. I posted a review with the results. I didn't even complain too badly or bash SKD, but about a month later I had an email from SKD. They read my review and issued me an RGA to get new ones. So far the new ones have held up. thanks again SKD... you guys are the bee's knees!

    Only for casual shooters

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Apr 2017

These gloves are only good for IG shooters/operators. If you are active duty LE or military, these gloves are not for you. I wore my PIG gloves over the course of 2 weeks during training and 1 barricade operation. The finger stitching is already coming loose, and during the barricade, I cut my hand on glass from a window we broke out when I got down on the ground to check a basement window. If you need gloves for work purposes, go with Magpul or Oakley which are heavier duty gloves. They are harder to shoot with but that just means you'll need to train with them more. However, if you just want gloves to use casually at the range or something, then these are great gloves, but don't buy them for hard use.

    Great gloves

Posted by Jesse Geiken on 11th Apr 2017

These are about as good as it gets in terms of a balance between dexterity and protection. They are the only gloves I've found that don't affect shooting grip or trigger control. Plus, they work with touch screens!

    Worth the money

Posted by Damian Podrebarac on 7th Apr 2017

Absolutely love these gloves. I have looked for a pair of gloves to use on SRT for years and wish I would have grabbed these a long time ago. Best gloves I've found on the market. Used during weapons qualification, to test the feel of them, and I could feel each round when reloading and had no problems with weapon manipulation. Well worth the $ My order was shipped and to my doorstep within the week

    Great Fit...PIG (FDT) Alpha Gloves

Posted by MikieG on 22nd Mar 2017

I was a bit concerned with the "snug" fit of these gloves at first, but after reviewing the very helpful and thorough information regarding this product and its fit on the SKD website, I felt comfortable I had the correct size. Do yourself a huge favor, and carefully read all of the information on these gloves, as well as make sure you measure your hand properly. These gloves are designed to fit like no other glove you've ever worn, so don't immediately believe you may have ordered the wrong size. When you put these things on, it's almost as if you have added a super-tough, thickened layer of extra skin to your hand. It takes a few minutes to "acclimate", but after that, you just want to wear them all day. Can not speak to durability at this early stage, but I have no reason to believe that the report from the manufacturer regarding durability found within the "Specs" "FAQ" section is anything other than truthful. The gloves appear to be quite robust. Highy recommend.
