FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.

  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Stitching

Posted by Gourdofashes on 20th Apr 2016

Second post, first one never appeared. Nice gloves, however faux leather coming up from poor stitching. Just got them today, inspected thoroughly I thought, but just after I cut the tag off so I could put them both on without feeling like I was being cuffed, I noticed the stitching was not done well at all. Bummer, haven't even used them yet.

    PIG gloves fit great

Posted by Thom on 20th Apr 2016

The fit of these gloves are excellent. They do not get in the way of your regular feel when handling long guns and pistols. I find the grip to be very good, no issue getting my twitter finger on the trigger. Overall very satisfied. I went all blacked out, they look and feel great. I was also going to write something about being able to slip your best friend's sister's bra off with these, however that will not be posted therefore I won't mention that.

    PIG FDT Gloves

Posted by Samuel T on 20th Apr 2016

About a decade ago I was an Infantryman in Iraq trying to find gear that worked. My buddies and I tried so many different gloves and most of the time we ended up just not wearing any. I wish I had these gloves back then! They are perfect!

    PIG Alpha Gloves

Posted by Martin V. on 20th Apr 2016

I purchased the "PIG Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha" Gloves as I had read other reviews about the gloves and I wanted gloves I could us primarily for driving and secondarily for shooting. The gloves are a tight fit & comfortable. I measured my hand and ordered what was recommended, based on that process I would say the gloves fit as sized. The workmanship looks good, there are no dangling threads or poorly sewn seams. The perforated palms actually do help keep your hands cool. The gloves do lend a great deal of dexterity when worn. I can remove a single credit card from a tight wallet pocket with them on. The screen touch feature works well and is nice to have with the ubiquitous cell phone. I would buy another pair and certainly recommend them. I have little to say about durability as mine are fairly new but they look to last a good long time based on quality of construction. A final note; they do have an attractive appearance with their multi color sections.

Haven't gotten a chance to wear them on the range yet but the size runs true. Great feel on the trigger even with this glove on. Super fast delivery, I'm definitely a satisfied customer. 👍👍👍👍

    Great Gloves- One Caveat

Posted by Ben on 20th Apr 2016

I have large hands, and bought the FDT Alpha Touch gloves in an extra large, and the fit is amazing. They're tough in the palms and fingers, the "touch" w/smartphones works well, and I have been recently finagled into semi-major house renovation where these were the only gloves I had on hand, and they held up extremely well. That said, early on I had one problem with the gloves - the stitching on the right glove's velcro "securing tab" ripped free on half the sewn-on patch of velcro. I resewed it myself (using powerpro fishing line) and haven't had a problem since, but I would suggest to SKD to beef up the stitching in that area as it seems to be the gloves' weak point. Amazing otherwise.

    Nice gloves

Posted by A Martinez on 29th Feb 2016

Use the sizing chart before you order. I had some stitching come out where the velcro tag connects with the backhand. I contacted SKD just to advise of the issue. I'll just add some stitching on my own.
