If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

    Excellent Glove

A friend suggested that I should try the PIG gloves when we were at the range one day. He offered me his to try but they were too small, so of course I ordered a pair of my own. I was hesitant at first, but after the first few trigger pulls, I couldn't even tell I had them on! They did a great job of keeping my sweaty palms from fouling my grip on the pistol. If you are in the market for a pair of shooting gloves than look no further.

Best all around gloves for shooters

Posted by Unknown on 8th Oct 2015

These are the best shooting gloves I have used ... especially for manipulating a pistol. They may not last as long as some heavier gloves but they will last longer then you think. The slightly lighter construction, snug fit and finger dexterity are worth the reduced mileage. At the price point ... buy a couple of pairs. The prices will even out in the end.

PIG (FDT) Alpha - Solid so far...

Posted by Unknown on 8th Oct 2015

These gloves are EXACTLY as advertised. Thin, tight to the hand and a true minimalist option for those seeking the best option to using no gloves at all, while still providing a basic level of protection that thin gloves, such as these will provide. I have not tested or used these extensively, but they have held up well so far. Only time will tell how long these will last once I begin using them more. However, I would buy another pair (once these wear out) based on the low price I paid from SKD Tactical and the solid build quality of the gloves from what I've seen to date. I did have some doubt if I wanted to go with the Alpha or the Alpha Touch, as I do own a touch screen based smartphone. I went with the basic Alpha, and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the gloves are so thin I can use my phone perfectly without having to opt for the more expensive Alpha Touch version. YMMV based on the phone/device, but I was very happy to discover this fact.

    Excellent so far!

The fit and feel of these gloves is superb. Haven't used 'em yet while putting lead down range, but so far, in some dry-fire and weapons manipulation practice, the Alpha gloves have a great feel, almost like a second skin. Saw Ken Hackathorn wearing these gloves at a class last year, and he spoke very highly of them. Good kit!

    Excellent feel

Posted by Ralph F on 8th Oct 2015

The description of the fit and feel is accurate. These gloves fit snugger than the mech gloves they replaced. The green color looks grayish to me which is a bonus. I bought the Alpha gloves and they work fine with my smartphone and tables if I use the "political" finger instead of the trigger finger.

    Snug and thin

Posted by Scott on 8th Oct 2015

I was hoping for tactical iso-toners in FDE and RG. I got my wish. These feel great. I can manipulate mag releases on the Glock and AR with no issue, load single rounds into mags, and slide the lock on/off my Gerber knife and put it away safe. These wont be hot on hot days or warm on cold days, but they will protect your hands from anything minor.

Better than most but lacks real durability

    Posted by BD-PL on 8th Oct 2015

Like others have said decent gloves, for what they are.... Doing some speed reload drills on the rifle with them the other day. Good dexterity, good tactile feel. If I don't need any serious protection or insulation I can see these becoming a personal favorite. I don't think I'd wear them if I was on a MG. I don't think they'd stand up to the heat and extra wear and tear. But I had guessed that going in. Nor would I wear them if I knew I was going to be in the rain or doing a rock scramble. I don't see them holding up well Also I had hoped they were just a little more durable because I did manage to jam my thumb against the bottom edge of my Eotech, which hurt like hell and also split the glove fabric (like the green part, not the black part on the bottom). Its only half an inch long and no big deal, I'll have to see how they hold up before I pass judgement further. Oh, wish they were American Made. I'd pay double for the same thing.

    Great range, shooting glove

Posted by Bill McGaw on 8th Oct 2015

Great dexterity, the touch on my iPad/iPhone is 'ok' But I still take off my glove anyway if I need any Precision on the touch screen. I can't speak to The durability yet. But I did order another pair for My go bag. Build quality seems very good, all the stitching And materials seem high quality. Here in South Texas the breath ability and venting Seems to be working great. Extra thick knuckle area provides decent abrasion Protection. I would highly recommend as a shooting glove.

    solid product

Posted by Jason Pena on 8th Oct 2015

These gloves are are great products. Extremely thin and able to use with firearms. The alpha touch or whatever you call it doesn't really work well for me so I could do without the extra $ for that feature. Shipping was great and at my house before I knew it. Let's see how these hold up
