PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.

  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Great gloves but would like slimmer for women

Posted by LMD on 3rd Apr 2015

I ordered the smallest pair, and love them. But I'm a female and have slim hands and fingers. So even the smallest sized gloves aren't as snug as I'd like when shooting. They are really nice though!

    PIG FDT Gloves

Nice gloves for sure. I love how well they work with my touch screen phone. Best fitting gloves I've ever owned too. I haven't tried shooting with them yet so I'm not sure how great that will be but I really like them so far.

    Very Good

Gloves are great and I like the Touch feature. Keep them away from hook and loop as they are allergic to it and may rapidly deteriorate.

PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha & Alpha To

Posted by Richard Shuttleworth on 3rd Apr 2015

I've purchased 2 pair of the PIG Alpha Touch gloves. On both pair there are 2 things I feel need to be addressed. 1) After a small amount of use, stray threads appear on the fingertips and along the seams. Not sure why this is but, it's a bit annoying. 2) While the gloves do provide great tactile input, they're very slick. Loading rounds into a mag can be pretty comical. Pistol mag changes require a very firm grip, otherwise the mags tend to slip through the fingers. All in all I'm very happy with both pair of PIG gloves.

PIG Full Dexterity Tactical Alpha Touch

Great gloves, mine may be missing a few of the unicorn fibers because working my iPhone mounted to the cycle's handle bars is still a bit of a hassle. All the other features exceed expectations. First heard about these on a NFP video, found the website, and I will be buying more of these outstanding gloves.

    PIG Alpha Touch Review

Posted by Timothy Johnson on 3rd Apr 2015

These are all around the best gloves I have ever used. However, I have a couple of small gripes. 1. Alpha touch is not needed. I was really disappointed that I paid extra money for the alpha touch when I discovered that my fingers without the special thread work on my touch screens. In fact, they worked even better than the ones wit the thread. 2. They grow. When I got the gloves they were very snug and fit perfectly. After about a week of wearing them for the cold though they are now larger and do not have the same snugness. 3. My final complaint is that the thumb does not use the same finger design as the other fingers. On the other fingers the fabric runs up over the fingernail making it very dexterous. However, they did not do this for the thumb making it far more difficult to load ammo. Like I said before these are still the best gloves out there. I just wish that PIG would have fixed these problems.

    problem with size

Posted by paul bersticker on 3rd Apr 2015

I have short fingers, and a thick palm. I was a small for the length and over an extra large for diameter. I ordered a extra large and the fit around my Palm was nice, but the fingers were way to long. Would be nice to have more options. The gloves seem to be quality overall.

gloves fit me, small size is too long for my wife

Posted by Wesley Root on 3rd Apr 2015

I have small hands (male glove size 7 1/2). Using your size chart, we ordered the small gloves for me and they fit me fine. Using your sizing chart, we predicted that the small gloves would be too large for my wife. That proved to be true. We have circulated the gloves to other ladies who are looking for small size shooting gloves, and the result is the same. The glove design is fine. Any chance for an extra-small size? Thank you.

    Got the Alpha Touch gloves

Posted by Matthew Piette on 3rd Apr 2015

They wear well as a driving/shooting glove. I haven't had them long enough to speak of their durability. The touch feature is nifty, but only works half the time. Maybe my hands aren't making the proper contact with the 3 lines of conducive thread they give you. I wouldn't buy the touch model again personally. For this price point, if they only last a year of hard use, I'll be sticking with Mechanix gloves. Thanks for making an innovative product though!
