PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha Glove

If you’ve ever worn tactical gloves while shooting and wished for something better… your wish is now reality.

The PIG FDT Alpha Glove offers ground-breaking gun-handling dexterity and features that set them apart from the competition. And like ALL PIG Glove models, the PIG FDT Alphas feature Touch Screen conductive synthetic suede on the index finger and thumb for full compatibility with all your favorite devices.

FEATURES (* indicates industry firsts for a tactical glove):

  • Conductive Thumb and Trigger Finger material - Maximum reliability for touch screen use without losing tactile dexterity.
  • Single Layer Multi-Piece Palm - Designed specifically so that only one layer of material contacts your shooting grip.
  • Sensitized and Isolated Trigger Finger - The thinnest available AX Suede material available, only on the trigger finger for ultimate sensitivity.
  • Selective Fourschette Material - Inside fourschettes are ventilated for maximum wicking. Outer forschettes are AX Suede for durability.
  • Low Profile Hook Closure - Reduces abrasion on clothing.
  • Flex Joints - Enhanced flexibility and ventilation on each finger.
  • Dual Flex Joint Trigger Finger - Providing maximum flexibility where you need it most.
  • Bar-Tacked Para Cord Pull Loop... YES, NOW BAR-TACKED..
  • Short Cuff - Lightweight comfort and convenience.
  • Micro Suede Nose Wipe* - Fights against cold-weather drip. *Multicam/Multicam Black models do not have the Micro Suede Nose Wipe in deference to having more Multicam patterned material.
  • Ventilation holes in Palms and Fingers - Increased wicking.
  • Isolated Edge Padding - Protection without compromising the shooting grip.
  • Wrap-Over Finger Tips - Provides additional comfort and protection for finger nails.
  • Stretch Ballistic Nylon 1000D Padded Knuckles - Stretch ballistic nylon reduces pressure on the seams, thin padding takes the edge off of impacts.

At the end of the day, the PIG FDT-Alpha Glove is a consumable product that will provide the user with the best tactile dexterity available in a tactical glove, and should be worn to destruction, then discarded and replaced. The selection of super sensitive materials and extremely tight seams mean that these gloves will eventually wear out, and there are no warranties implied. Please try them on and inspect them thoroughly for fit and finish before removing from the hangtag, but be forewarned, you will not want to take them off.

Perfect fitting glove. I wear a medium size and this one is true to fit. Purchasing more of these. I would not want to be without this glove. Perfect for use with firearms and daily wear.

    Very Nice Gloves

Posted by Blaze William Manganaro on 27th Jan 2015

I have 2 pairs of these. Both are very nice to keep hands warm and still be able to feel things. They are snug so I would suggest if you wear a say close to 2X get the 2X. I have large hands and the 2X is pretty snug but not to bad. The people at SKD are great as well. Always fast shipping and always the items are right. No mess ups. And if they even think your unhappy they are Johnny on the Spot to make it right A+ Company!

    FTD AT gloves

Posted by Burritt on 27th Jan 2015

Needed a pair of gloves for my SO who got a slide serration. Researched skdtac and ended up buying two pair. Prompt delivery as promised allowed our weekly range date.My SO used them. 'Nuff said. Mine fit tight at first but adapted to my hands, soon as a second skin. The sizing chart was useful. Manipulating pistols, loading mags, writing in range log, typing this on ipad, no problems.Best shooting gloves I own.

    best tactical gloves

Posted by JD on 27th Jan 2015

I have used many types of gloves for shooting and they all have been too thick. I despise having to wear gloves shooting because i like having the tactile feel to do weapon manipulations. This is the first pair of gloves that i can wear that do not interfere using the weapon. I highly recommend these gloves!

    Awesome Gloves

Posted by Robert Pearson on 27th Jan 2015

The gloves I received are awesome. Every review I read was spot on. SKD did a great job too. I ordered the wrong size and SKD made it super simple to return my gear and order another pair. The gloves offer full range of motion while keeping a high protection factor. Trigger finger has excellent feel while the rest is padded in just the right locations.

    PIG Alpha Touch Gloves

Posted by Kraig on 27th Jan 2015

I can really only think of 1 thing to say bad about the gloves. The material on the palm side of the glove is a little slick. I am sure in time the material will rough up a bit. Even with a stippled grip on the weapon my hands slide a little. Great overall fit, comfort, quality. I highly recommend these gloves for ones like me that have a hard time trying to find a pair that fit as the should.

    Best I've seen so far

Posted by Raoul Duke on 27th Jan 2015

If you've used them you know, if you haven't you should. Not that I'm a glove expert, but probably the only gloves I've personally tried that are actually designed for shooting. Most other gloves out there are simply gloves(that people happen to use for shooting) but don't have any specific attributes to enhance your shooting. Plus the PIG's come with optional unicorn pubis hair, and how could that not enhance every part of your life?
