PIG BRIG Mk1 Shoulder Pad Set [SYSTEMA]

The Hybrid Foam & Spacer Mesh construction of the ALL-NEW PIG BRIG Shoulder Pad Set provides optimal padding and ventilation for the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier . With minimum weight and bulk, the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set enhances weight-bearing comfort tremendously. When wearing the BRIG directly over clothing (and not over a soft armor vest), adding the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set with a set of PIG AFC Pontoons will bring the comfort level on par with the PIG Plate Carrier.

These shoulder pads will fit any strap up to 2" wide.

    Very light and well-ventilated

    I was surprised how light these are, and the sewn channels plus space mesh let them breathe well. If I could improve them, I'd like to see a smooth fabric cover on one edge of the pad. It could cover maybe 1/3 of the bottom and 1/2 of the top, made of Litelok or nylon pack cloth. This would reduce chafing from the pad and shoulder strap edge on the side of your neck.

    These are a perfect addition to the pig brig plate carrier! Like having little clouds on your shoulders holding the weight of the rig!

    Used on my Mayflower APC works great, could be a little thicker but still a great replacement for the shoulder pads that come with the Mayflower APC

    These fit Beez combat system plate carrier nicely. I put them inside the thin pads that came with the PC, it's working great, really comfortable.

    Great Shoulder pads

    I bought these for the Jumpable Plate Carrier (JPC) by Crye Precision and they fit perfectly, the mounting velcro straps on these are spaced at exactly the length of the elastic shoulder strap covers on the JPC so it's a perfect match. The Pads are mesh so they are breathable and comfortable.

    I have a Mayflower APC and the shoulder pads are not that comfortable. On a whim, I bought these and they don't disappoint. I can't believe how comfortable my APC now is fully loaded!
