PIG AFC Pontoon Set (2 Pads) [SYSTEMA]
PIG BRIG Mk2 Shoulder Pad Set
Looking for the next level in shoulder pad comfort and design? We've taken a legacy design with traditional fold-over flaps and updated it for 2015. While the total length is 10" long, for skinnier customers who require a shorter shoulder strap length, only 8" of strap available strap is needed to install the PIG Brig Mk2 Shoulder Pad Set.
With the padded portion made of Drilux covered foam, these premium shoulder pads will offer days upon days of comfort and quick drying on the job. This shoulder pad set comes with a cable routing kit for comms wires and hydration tubes. Like all PIG Tactical Nylon products, the PIG Brig Mk2 Shoulder Pad Set is Made in USA.
Lightweight and well built. Padding has just enough without being ridiculously too much. Breathable material. The hook and loop secures very well. My only complaint is that the padding at each end has squared corners. Until these break in, they can catch your face or eye. Not the end of the world by any means. If these were slightly rounded it would prevent this. Didn’t really care though and bought another pair for another carrier. Will lost likely add them to the other three carriers.
Excellent quality. Bought these for my Ferro FCPC V5 plate carrier. $10 cheaper than the Ferro pads. These pads are good if you have a medium to heavy load out. Highly recommended.
I got these shoulder pads for my pig plate carrier. They are ridiculously comfortable. I use this plate carrier daily, and these straps help even the load and reduce shoulder fatigue. DonÕt think about any other pads, just get these you wonÕt be sorry.
Comfortable and thick pads. Added these along with the HSGI Adjustable Shoulder Pads (gel) for super comfort wearing plate carrier all day long.
straps just as advertised, delivered in a timely manner
Makes a huge difference and makes the rig much more comfortable. Highly recommend adding these to ur set up.
The pads are comfortable and very light, however they are a little longer then I would prefer.
I've run the mk1 shoulder pads on a jpc for years, but found it to be an uncomfortable carrier to run in. I switched to a slickster and mk2 pads, both purchased from skd, and find the combo much more comfortable. I've been buying from skd for years, and can't see that changing any time soon.
I'm running a Crye Precision JPC and I found that the straps were too long for the short straps on the Plate Carrier. Not a issue for me but a consideration when buying these products. Great breathability and the quality is great!
