PIG BRIG Mk1 Shoulder Pad Set [SYSTEMA]

The Hybrid Foam & Spacer Mesh construction of the ALL-NEW PIG BRIG Shoulder Pad Set provides optimal padding and ventilation for the PIG BRIG Plate Carrier . With minimum weight and bulk, the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set enhances weight-bearing comfort tremendously. When wearing the BRIG directly over clothing (and not over a soft armor vest), adding the BRIG Shoulder Pad Set with a set of PIG AFC Pontoons will bring the comfort level on par with the PIG Plate Carrier.

These shoulder pads will fit any strap up to 2" wide.

    Nice construction, very comfortable. Fits perfectly on JPC shoulder straps. No need to remove the stock 'pads,' just install directly over them.

    Again i already have a set of these for my main plate carrier and figured since they are so comfortable why not buy another set for my other carrier. But in reality love them and would not change them for anything else.

    I've owner Mayflower, HSGI, LBT, Strandhogg & FS Comfort Pads, & these trump them all in my opinion.

    If you running weight buy the pads for long duration wear. Buy them, they are cheap enough.

    I have always been a huge fan of the HSGI pads, however when I purchased my Brigandine I wanted something that would fit better on the higher shoulder straps; that's where these come in. The 'velcro' is very secure. The pads themselves do a great job of dispersing the load and 'relieving' pressure on your shoulders. The slick I run weighs 11lbs with plates; which makes for a great weight vest to run with, these pads and this rig feel like the armor is apart of your body, instead of on your body... in short... VERY Comfortable! They also do a good job at allowing air to circulate, I believe the pontoons are made in a very similar fashion to these guys. All in all I love these things, If you invest in the PIG SYSTEMA I highly suggest buying these when you purchase your base carrier. Trust me on this.

    These pads do what they say they do. They make your BRIG carrier much more comfortable for extended use. They could have more padding, but it would take away from the minimalist concept of the design. They do their job and it's a must buy if you are buying a BRIG.
