PIG Rifle Stock Pack

Rifle stock packes assure you have extra cartridges at all times. Aside from tactical advantages they are great for a wilderness hunt or while hunting in remote areas where an extra magazine may not be enough. Especially if you become stranded. In my most recent Alaska hunt we were confronted by a sow grizzly with a pair of two year old cubs. The guide used up all his rounds to ward off the group, leaving him empty until we were able to get back to our tents to replenish. A full stock pack would have remedied that condition. The PIG is Probably the best of the rifle stock packs out there. I have several. It is well made and I have several. It's attachment system is probably the most secure but that makes it the most difficult to remove. In some rifles with extremely low stock/bolt clearance a stock pack needs to be removed for bolt removal (not an issue with tactical rifles) It's not cheap, but u get what you pay for. Buy once, cry once.

A good solid pack. I put it on my rem 700 and it works great. Had to build up a cheek piece for it, but that neither here nor there. Looks good, functions flawlessly. Just wish it offered a bit more storage.

NO joke, this thing has excellent quality. I didn't give it 5 stars because its a little small for my Manners Stock. It fits great on a regular profile stock though.

This pack is sturdy. Has a very smooth and comfortable cheek rest. I put mine on a Remington 700 SPS tactical butt stock. Fit was great and very secure on the Hogue overmold stock. The pack holds 8 rounds of .308 securely, but not so tight that you have to fight to get them out. The morale patch loop section is the perfect size for a standard patch. The bungee system has a long enough cord to allow a shooter to customize the comb hight with neoprene for a custom fit. Over all it's well worth the money. This is a "a one and done" piece of gear.

SKD truly delivers with this stock pack. The materials are top notch and the install was easy enough. My only suggestion would be a little bit longer cord. If your stock has an adjustable cheek rest on mine you *might* run out of length. Mine had just enough. Regardless, the fit is tight and makes the rifle look even sexier.

I bought this pack for a SBR project, and it fits the bill perfectly. It's not to big, and very well made. All stitching is well done, the seams are good and even, and everything functions as advertised. However, I refuse to judge something by fit and finish; function is what matters. This pack functions perfectly for me, and my needs. I look forward to abusing the hell out of it over the years.
