PIG Full Dexterity Tactical (FDT) Alpha+ Glove
Introducing the ALL NEW PIG FDT Alpha+ Glove! Bridging the gap between our best selling PIG FDT Alpha Glove and the PIG FDT Alpha FR Glove, the PIG FDT Alpha+ combines the affordability of the Alpha with the all-leather palm of the Alpha FR model.
While the premium goatskin leather will have a slightly different feel from the synthetic suede on the Alpha glove, the leather palms and fingers will break in over time and provide better durability over the synthetic suede.
We worked closely with a special tannery that offers Touchscreen Compatible leather for the trigger finger and thumb. One thing you’ll need to be aware of is that due to the high carbon and graphite content in the conductive leather, you can expect some black color transfer onto your trigger finger and thumb. We recommended that you hand wash the gloves and air-dry them to help with the breaking-in process and reduce most of the excess carbon and graphite.

Alpha + gloves
I got these after years of use and abuse wore my original Alpha gloves into “fingerless” gloves... I love the original design - my PIG Alphas have been my favorite shooting gloves - so I thought I’d try the reinforced version. They definitely have beefier palms and fingers. Have a feeling I’ll get a few more miles out of these. Overall still pretty much the same design, just tougher leather in the fingers and palms. Still has touch screen capabilities, but the fingertips on the original Alpha gloves seem a little more “precise” if that makes sense. These are just a tad bulkier at the finger tip (as I’m sure is just the unavoidable result of making them thicker). Overall love em - fantastic shooting glove

Best Glove I’ve Found for Duty Use
I have tried a wide variety of gloves. Each has fallen short in fit, function or durability over the years on uniformed patrol. These gloves and their predecessors are the best fit, best function and best durability I have found. These are my go to gloves and carry a pair every shift. The finger articulation, close fit and smart seam placements make weapon handling and manipulations simple and increase grip on the firearm rather than decrease grip like many gloves. Fit is snug without excess length to the thumb which is huge during shooting. The palm is thin and durable and allows you to feel small objects during a subject search. Overall, best glove in class.
