First there was the PIG FDT Alpha Glove - still our best selling model, and the one that launched our Glove line. Then we had the Bravo - an FR version in the same design lineage as the Alpha - unfortunately it was never reordered due to supply chain issues with the materials.
Fast forward to 2020, and we're back in the FR glove business with the ALL NEW PIG FDT Alpha FR Gloves! These high dexterity gloves feature construction entirely from flame resistant materials. The biggest material departure from the Alpha gloves is that the entire palm is made of actual Goat skin leather. While it will have a different feel from the synthetic suede on the Alpha glove, the leather palms and fingers will break in very nicely over time and provide better durability over the synthetic suede.
We worked closely with a special tannery that offers Touchscreen Compatible leather for the trigger finger and thumb. One thing you'll need to be aware of is that due to the high carbon and graphite content in the conductive leather, there will be some black color transfer onto your trigger finger and thumb. After wearing several times and allowing the glove to break in, we recommended that you hand wash the gloves and air-dry them to help with the breaking-in process and reduce most of the excess carbon and graphite.

Excellent dexterity
I don’t have any time on range yet with these but with plenty of break in time around the house and draw practice and laser training practice! These are the excelent fit and finish light weight and grippy! The black is totally all dark black not the chocolate hue of the leather in the pic which was a bummer because that’s good contrast but that’s ok because these fit awesome. Follow the chart I want to also add this is similar fit to Full Gauntlet motorcycle racing gloves fit by size, so these are also the same size rating as my motorcycle road gloves

PIG (FDT) ALPHA FR GLOVE
Awesome gloves, I've been using them for the range and riding motorcycle. They are comfortable and very durable.

Pretty decent, nice improvements
There are quite a few good improvements made on these gloves, they look to be much more durable the previous versions. The only issue with them is the sizing is a bit off, they could be more snug or even better would be to extend the line to the ladies sizing.

Dexterity
Flexible gloves love them. I have big palms and little fingers like a mutant and went with a medium size glove. Large means good figment on Palm but excess finger material. Was pretty tight but after cutting the material between the thumb and index it fits perfect. The material cut is thinner and re-enforced on edges to prevent tearing.
