The ALL-NEW PIG Air-Flow/Comfort (AFC) Pontoons (Pat. Pend.) enhance the capabilities of current and up-coming PIG designs, including the PIG Brigandine Plate Carrier and the PIG gRUNT Modular Pack.

Based on the wildly popular airflow channel pads on the PIG Plate Carrier, the AFC Pontoons give you the same comfort and ventilation performance, while providing the user the option of removal when needed. The AFC Pontoon Set can be added to the back or front carrier, or you can order 2 sets to add padding and ventilation to both.

For PIG BRIG Plate Carrier users, AFC Pontoons are perfect when wearing the BRIG with stand-alone plates over a shirt to provide ventilation, padding and additional comfort. When wearing the BRIG over soft armor, simply remove the AFC Pontoons to minimize stand-off as ventilation on top of a soft armor vest is moot.

When using the PIG gRUNT Modular Pack as a stand-alone day pack, the AFC Pontoons provide rigidity and comfort to compliment the PIG Shoulder Straps perfectly. Look for additional upcoming PIG designs that utilize the AFC Pontoons.

    Now i ordered 4 sets of these, that's because i put a set in each of my jpc's, i really like these alot mainly because it turns a plate carrier that has little to no padding at all. Now that i have inserted these it makes my plate carrier feel like im getting a hug lol, but i absolutley love these.

    Made are plate carrier's way better. Can go all day without removing them and still bend over. SKD will definitely get more business from me.

    I like the idea of these pontoons. For what they are they work fine. However, I have two beefs with em......first off they are not universal, I run a Mayflower PC and had to jury rig the pontoons with some industrial Velcro tape. Hopefully This setup will hold up in the warmer months with the adhesive backing and all. Second issue, I know this is mostly on my wacky ideals but I was kinda hoping they'd be a bit bigger. All and all, good product and extremely comfortable when you're running with just hard plates. Also performs nicely by stabilizing your PC a bit.

    Simply amazing idea ... Great airflow and cushioning and remove able for use over soft armor ... Excellent addition to the PIG Brig.

    just fyi these come two to a set. translates to two pads for either front or back set up...it doesnt specify which is why it lost one star. other then that its really comfortable
